How Do I Treat My Horse's/Pony's Infection/Skin Infection with Banixx?

You can treat your horse's or pony's skin infection with Banixx. If needed, first flush the infected area on your horse with plain water to clean out any debris.

  • Allow the area to dry or pat the area dry with sterile gauze or a clean towel.
  • Apply Banixx liberally, using disposable gloves, to your horse's or pony's infection two to three times daily, for two to three days (or as long as needed).
  • Gently massage Banixx into the skin with your fingertips.
  • Dispose of the gloves to prevent the spread of infection.

The Banixx Pet Care RemedyWhen you're all done, just let Banixx go to work on your horse or pony. Banixx stays "active" for several hours so make no attempt to wipe or hose it off.

While Banixx is a powerful anti-fungal and antibacterial agent, it is also extremely tissue-friendly and will not sting, stain, or cause damage to even the most sensitive areas. Banixx is clinically proven safe around the eye and contains no alcohol or iodine to cauterize tissue.  For these reasons, Banixx is ideal for use with young or skittish horses, or other animals that can be difficult to treat. Horse Skin Infection on Mouth Testimonial

"Our beloved Flicka came in from the pasture for her evening feed with these terribly swollen, crusty lips that look similar to what happens to Aplacas when they get into too much clover.  Luckily, I had Banixx on hand, so I instructed my barn helper to hang the Banixx bottle on the outside of the stall and spray it on her lips every time he walked by.  Within a couple of days it was just all gone and she is back to her healthy self.  Thanks, Banixx!"  - Roger E.& Flicka
